Question: What is quantum physics?

Keywords: ,

  1. “Classical physics” are the laws of physics that apply to objects in the everyday world that we are used to. However. these don’t work for microscopic objects like atoms and molecules – they behave differently, and follow the rules of “quantum physics.” One of the big mysteries in physics is understanding how quantum physics becomes classical physics for everyday objects.

  3. Don’t know whether biologists are trying to work it out, BUT very pleased physicists are! 😀

  4. Quantum physics also allow us to understand the behaviour of light. At the microscopic level there are actually lots of similarities between the behaviour of light and electrons, protons and neutrons.

If you ever want to invent a device that allows teleportation or a quantum computer, then you’ll need to study quantum physics!
