    Probably the same with most scientists – being the first person to discover something new, or to solve a particular problem. And I really like working with other people – it can be quite a sociable pursuit.

    I love 2 things (1) helping students learn by exposing them to wildlife & (2) being able to spend lots of time on or near to the ocean studying the things I love

    I love the thrill of discovery and the challenge of solving problems that either no one has been able to, or perhaps even encountered before. I also love communicating science to the public: students, amateur astronomers, everyone.
