I guess it depends what you consider to be unusual! 😉
Most of the planets I’ve discovered are like Jupiter: they have approximately the same mass as the Solar System’s largest planet. They’re probably the same size too, and they take a few years to orbit their parent stars.
One planet I’ve discovered is closer to the mass of Neptune, but takes only 17 days to orbit its star! For reference, Mercury takes 88 days to orbit the Sun. So this planet (romantically called HD16417b) is probably hotter than Mercury and far, far larger!
I’ve also discovered a star that has 1000 times more heavy elements (like tin and lead) than the Sun, but is only one fifth the size!
