Question: What is the average lifespan of a koala in the wilderness

    They can live for 15+ years in captivity, but not sure anyone knows the average life span in the wild?

    Did a little more investigation and it turns out the work has been done!

    Koalas have been recorded as living up to 18 years in the wild, but an average lifespan is more like 10-14 years. Females typically live longer than males.
