If and when the world does “end” it will be a slow process, not something that will happen overnight. I think that the Earth will gradually become uninhabitable as the Sun expands over the next 4 billion years (you’ve got plenty of time!) Eventually, the Sun will swallow the Earth and it will be destroyed. But as I said, it’s a very slow process!

Meanwhile, I think we should focus on other things that might wipe us out in the rather nearer future!

I agree with Heather, there are plenty of other things that will cause the end of the human race long before the sun consumes us!

You know tiny, while I am sure the world will end one day, it is highly unlikely you will be around to experience the event! In the meantime like Heather and Matthew said there are many exciting ideas or things to focus on!

I too like to focus on the hope the society can overcome some of the challenges that we are facing today. Some things we can do alone, some require collective input, but let’s try and improve the future of our current planet.
