I have seen one in the water while surfing in SA and I have seen plenty of tiger sharks while snorkelling ….but I know the heartache that shark attack can cause so given a choice I doubt I would free dive with one on purpose despite them being amazing creatures. There was some great footage released last week of how great whites attack and they are seriously fast and agile.

No!
I did a reasonable amount of diving up on the Barrier reef and across the Northern Territory some years ago. However, since moving to live in South Australia (SA) I have not done any diving. One of the principle reasons is Great Whites!
I recognise many people do dive in SA, but I can’t help feeling I would look a little too much like a seal – that couldn’t swim very well!
The number of attacks every year are small, but they do occur regularly enough in WA and SA (divers & surfers) for me to stay out of the Great White’s territory. They are extraordinary animals – I would just prefer not to risk fate!

Going into space – sure. Diving with an efficient killing machine… maybe not!

Not on your life! I love sharks, but I’m happy for them to be feeding on something other than me. I’m also not so sure about free diving… I’ve heard too many sad stories.
