For a long time it was thought that dogs saw just in black and white (or shades of grey). Recent research suggests that while they can’t see as many colours as humans can, they are sensitives to some colours, but unlikely to see them as we do.

I seem to remember that dogs can’t watch TV? Humans can because we have some sort of “persistence of vision” which means that we don’t see the scanning?
Does this just apply to old style cathode ray tubes? What about flat screen TVs?
