I’m a Scientist is like school science lessons meet the X Factor! School students choose which scientist gets a prize of $1000 to communicate their work.
Scientists and students talk on this website. They both break down barriers, have fun and learn. But only the students get to vote.
This zone is the Boron Zone. It has a range of scientists studying all different topics. Who gets the prize? YOU decide!
Not sure what you mean? You mean like a 3D image made of light? Yes, people are working on this sort of technology, but I don’t know much about it. Tupac Shakur was brought back to life as something of a hologram at a music festival recently:

We actually already have invented holograms, but most of them aren’t very sophisticated. I made one in the lab at university, but it was more like a 3D photograph than what I think you’re referring to.
I think that in the coming 10 or so years we’ll start to see more holographic displays built into smart phones and the like. There are lots of rumours around about that!
