I’m a Scientist is like school science lessons meet the X Factor! School students choose which scientist gets a prize of $1000 to communicate their work.
Scientists and students talk on this website. They both break down barriers, have fun and learn. But only the students get to vote.
This zone is the Boron Zone. It has a range of scientists studying all different topics. Who gets the prize? YOU decide!
As we understand it the 1st humans came to “be” out of Africa. They evolved over 100s of 1000s of years from earlier hominoids. This evolution was a rapid process in evolutionary terms, but a very slow process in terms of a human generation.
Due to evolution described above, humans did not start from just one individual, but from a small population of individuals.
If you trace human ancestry back far enough yes we are probably reasonably closely, though not necessarily directly, related. 😀

There is evidence that Aboriginal people have been in Australia for ~60,000 years with the oldest remains found in NSW (Mungo man).
